Announcement · SAP Business AI
There’s SAP funding for AI projects. Most companies never claim it.
SAP has committed €100 million to help its customers move Business AI from planning to production — the Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive Program, announced at Sapphire 2026. DEBCOR Engineering is an approved partner in the program’s partner pool, and this page explains how the program works and how to find out whether your AI initiative may qualify.

How the program actually works
Four steps. SAP makes the funding decisions; you choose your partner.
You bring the initiative
An AI project on or adjacent to your SAP landscape. An idea is enough.
We assess the fit
DEBCOR maps it against SAP's published program criteria and tiers, and tells you whether it's a plausible fit.
SAP reviews and nominates
SAP evaluates opportunities against its own criteria. Nothing is automatic, and SAP decides.
You choose your partner
Approved customers select from SAP's approved partner pool. DEBCOR is eligible to be selected — the choice is yours.
Which tier fits your initiative?
SAP structures the program in four tiers. Where you enter depends on how far along your AI journey is.
| Tier | What it covers (per SAP’s program) | Likely you, if… |
|---|---|---|
| Adoption | Deploying existing SAP AI assistants with structured enablement | You want to activate what you already own — Joule and shipped AI capabilities |
| Launch | Building and deploying at least one custom agent via Joule Studio | You have one process in mind that an agent should own |
| Performance | Demonstrating measurable business outcomes from deployed agents | Agents are live and you need the P&L evidence |
| Enterprise | Comprehensive AI strategy delivery with full Joule Studio mastery | AI is a board-level program, not a project |

What we’ll tell you straight
Where you stand — either way.
To be direct about the mechanics: SAP reviews and nominates customer opportunities into the program based on SAP’s own criteria. For approved opportunities, the customer selects their preferred partner from SAP’s pool of approved partners. Nothing about this is an automatic grant, and DEBCOR isn’t guaranteed to be selected for any given opportunity.
That candor is the point of the Fit Check. If your initiative doesn’t look like a plausible fit for SAP’s published criteria, we’ll tell you — and tell you what would change the picture. If the program isn’t the right vehicle, DEBCOR’s AI work is available on a direct commercial basis, and we’ll say that plainly too. You’ll leave the conversation knowing where you stand either way.
Bring us the initiative
Bring us the initiative. We’ll tell you where it stands.
The 15-Minute Fit Check. Bring the AI initiative you’re considering — an idea or a business case — and the SAP landscape it sits in. In one 15-minute conversation, we’ll tell you: what it takes to build, which program tier it maps to, whether it looks like a plausible fit for SAP’s published criteria, and what to prepare if you pursue a nomination. If it isn’t a fit, we’ll say so.

What SAP customers ask about the program.
What is SAP's Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive Program?
Announced by SAP at Sapphire 2026 as part of the Autonomous Enterprise vision, the Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive Program commits €100 million from SAP to its partner ecosystem to help SAP customers move Business AI from planning to production. The program is structured in four tiers — Adoption, Launch, Performance, and Enterprise — described in the tier table above. SAP nominates customer opportunities into the program based on SAP's own criteria; for approved opportunities, the customer selects their preferred partner from SAP's approved partner pool.
How does a customer qualify?
Qualification runs through SAP. SAP reviews and nominates customer opportunities into the program based on SAP's own program criteria — nothing about qualification is automatic and DEBCOR does not decide who qualifies. What DEBCOR can do is help customers understand whether their initiative is a plausible fit for the program, what a realistic engagement scope looks like, and what supporting materials help the case with SAP. If your initiative is approved into the program, you then select your preferred partner from the approved pool — DEBCOR is eligible to be selected, not guaranteed to be.
What kinds of AI initiatives fit the program?
Business AI initiatives on the SAP stack — Joule activation, SAP Business AI use cases across finance, procurement, supply chain, HR, and customer experience, custom Joule Studio agents, and BTP-hosted agentic workloads that ground in SAP data. DEBCOR's five-layer AI agent architecture (Orchestration, Intelligence, Worker, Governance, Auditing) is designed for exactly this class of engagement. If your AI roadmap is inside or adjacent to SAP, it is worth a conversation.
What if we're an SAP customer with AI needs that sit outside SAP too?
That is the common case. Most enterprise AI work today touches SAP and other systems — CRM, warehouses, document stores, homegrown databases. DEBCOR's AI Packages track delivers outcome-first AI on any stack, and where SAP is in the picture, the same engagements may qualify for the incentive program. The bridge to SAP-native is optional, not required.
How do we start the conversation?
Book the 15-Minute Fit Check above. Describe the AI initiative you are considering and the SAP landscape it sits in. We will tell you whether it looks like a plausible fit for SAP's program criteria, what a realistic engagement scope would be, and what the sequencing looks like. If it is not a fit for the incentive program, we will say so — and DEBCOR's AI work is available on a direct commercial basis regardless.
